Making Predictions
Every match has a prediction slider ranging up to 8 for each team. Slide left to predict Team A wins, right to predict Team B wins, or leave it at 0 for a draw.
The number you pick represents the goal difference — how many goals you think will separate the two teams. A prediction of +3 means the team you go toward wins by 3 goals (e.g. 3–0, 4–1, 5–2).
When you predict a draw, you also choose the draw type:
- ·Score Draw — Both teams score — e.g. 1–1, 2–2, 3–3
- ·Scoreless Draw — Neither team scores — 0–0
Scoring
Correct result
You predicted the right outcome.
Correct goal difference
You got the exact margin right (only awarded if the result is also correct).
Correct draw type
You picked Score Draw or Scoreless Draw correctly.
Knockout Multipliers
Points earned in knockout matches are multiplied based on the round. Scores are recorded after extra time — penalties are not included in the scoreline.
Example: a correct result + goal diff in the Final earns 6 × 4 = 24 pts.
Tiebreakers
If two players finish on the same total points, the following tiebreakers apply in order:
- 1Most correct goal difference predictions
- 2Most correct result predictions
- 3Correctly picked the World Cup winning team
- 4Most correct category picks
Upset of the Tournament Bonus
At the end of the tournament, +25 bonus points are awarded to every player who made the biggest upset prediction in the game — the result with the highest upset magnitude based on pre-match betting market odds.
Odds are snapshotted from live betting markets 4 hours before kickoff for every match and locked publicly. If more than one match ties for the highest upset magnitude, all players who correctly called either match receive the bonus.
Upset magnitude is visible on every match card and updates live as you drag the prediction slider — so you always know when you're swinging for the fences.
Category Winners
Pick a winner for each of the six categories. Each correct pick earns bonus points, awarded at the end of the tournament.
Winning Team
Your pick wins the World Cup.
Golden Boot
Your pick leads the tournament in goals scored.
Assist King
Your pick leads the tournament in assists.
Golden Glove
Your goalkeeper pick records the most clean sheets.
Golden Ball
Your pick is awarded best player of the tournament.
Young Player
Your pick (born on or after Jan 1, 2005) wins the best young player award.
Category picks lock at tournament kickoff on June 11.
Prediction Deadline
Match predictions lock 1 hour before kickoff. Once a match is locked you can no longer submit or change your pick. Make sure to get your predictions in early!
Leaderboard
Your total points — match predictions plus player award picks — appear on the Leaderboard. Match points update automatically after each result is entered. Award points are added at the end of the tournament.
